Where Craftsmanship meets the Hillside.

Violet Hill is a uniquely designed, sustainable community of plotted development by Total Environment, located at Talashet on the Ambegaon-Pen Road in Alibaug.

The existing tree cover, the hill views and the land falling and rising through the terrain give the project a character that is rare for Alibaug - quieter, greener and built to slow you down. Designed uniquely, the Master Plan includes intimate clusters. A central boulevard runs through the length of the project, connecting the higher and lower ends of the valley along its way. The common-area amenities include jogging and cycling tracks, a pet park, an open-air amphitheatre, and more.

Total Environment

For nearly three decades, Total Environment has been designing and building homes around the way people live every day. Each home is planned to feel open, personal, and deeply connected to nature, with large glass panels that bring in light and air, gardens that become part of daily routines, and spaces shaped around comfort, privacy, and ease of use.

Natural materials, custom-designed cabinetry, handcrafted furniture, and carefully planned layouts come together to create homes that are both beautiful and functional. With in-house expertise across architecture, construction, interiors, furniture, cabinetry, kitchens, and property management, Total Environment stays closely involved through every stage of the home. The result is a home built with intention, designed to age gracefully, and supported with long-term care.

The Landcraft Difference

The Valley

Violet Hill sits across an elevated gradient where the land falls and rises between 20 and 46 metres, opening up to panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The Master Plan works with the slope rather than against it, so every cluster has its own relationship with the terrain.

Our communities are designed with small intimate clusters with 12-24 homes in each cluster. This prevents traffic from driving through and makes each cluster safer for the elderly, children and pets, and creates the opportunity for the families within the cluster to get to know each other better.

A central boulevard runs through the project, connecting the higher and lower ends of the valley. The Central Green flanks it on both sides, providing a quiet walking and gathering space along the spine of the community.

The site comes with significant existing tree cover, which we have preserved. This is supplemented with Tree zones and native planting throughout the project, creating dense green pockets that will mature into a proper forest over time.

Our streets are built with exquisitely hand-crafted cobblestones, which blend into the natural landscape and slow traffic without the need for speed-breakers. They are more durable than tar, weather better, and are laid with a steeper camber to avoid puddling in the monsoon. Pedestrian walkways in precast concrete flagstones run alongside.

A cycling track loops through the project, taking in the elevation changes, and the wooded zones. The terrain here is rare for a plotted development gentle in places, steeper in others, so the ride changes as you go.

With the purchase of a plot at Total Environment Land-craft, you receive complimentary access to our award-winning home designs as well as access to our interior design platform eDesign, through which you can custom design your home to meet your lifestyle and functional needs and aesthetic preferences.

As the owner of a plot in our community, you also get access to quality construction of your home including furniture, cabinetry, and kitchens from Total Environment.

Total Environment offers lifelong maintenance of the community [for a fee]. This maintenance, however, does not include anything within the plot if the home has not been built through Total Environment.

Our clubhouse and the facilities within are designed with the same authentic first principles approach and with the warmth and attention to detail as our homes, for you and your family to feel at home there. Facilities include a multipurpose hall, tennis court, pickleball court, outdoor pool, gym and many more.
